1.Steel cutting
Use a cutting machine to cut the steel to an appropriate length to meet the needs of subsequent processing. The cutting process should ensure that the cut is smooth to reduce the difficulty of subsequent processing.
2.Heating and rolling
Heating: the cut steel is fed into the heating furnace for heating. The purpose of heating is to soften the steel and facilitate subsequent rolling operations. The heating temperature and time should be strictly controlled to avoid overheating or over-firing of steel.
Rolling: The heated steel enters the mill for rolling. By adjusting the clearance and shape of the roll, the steel is rolled into the shape of a U channel. The shape and size of steel should be constantly checked during rolling to ensure product quality.
3.Cool and straighten
Cooling: The rolled steel needs to be cooled. The cooling method can be natural or forced cooling, depending on the production requirements and the characteristics of the steel.
Straightening: A straightening treatment of cooled steel to eliminate bending and distortion arising during rolling. The straightening process should ensure that the shape and size of the channel steel meet the standard.
4.Cutting and finishing
Precise cutting: according to customer requirements, the straightened steel is precisely cut to achieve the required length.
End face treatment: The end face of the cut steel is sanded or sandblasted to remove burrs and oxide scales and improve the aesthetics and service life of the product.
5.Inspection and packaging
Quality inspection: check the quality of the U channel steel products produced. The inspection contents include shape, size, surface quality, mechanical properties, etc. Ensure products meet relevant standards and customer requirements.
