Classified by production process
1. High frequency resistance pipe: high frequency resistance welded pipe is a kind of welded pipe that generates heat at the edge of the steel plate through high frequency current, so that the edge of the steel plate is melted and welded together. This kind of welded pipe has high production efficiency, low cost, and is suitable for mass production.
2. Submerged arc pipe: Submerged arc welding pipe is a kind of welded pipe that uses an electric arc to burn under the flux layer and generate high temperature to melt the edge of the steel plate and weld it together. This kind of welded pipe weld quality, good sealing, suitable for the need of high welding quality occasions.

Classification by material
1. Ordinary carbon steel pipe: this is the most common type of welded pipe, mainly made of ordinary carbon steel plate or steel strip rolled. It has good mechanical and welding properties and is suitable for general purpose structural support and fluid transportation.
2. Alloy steel pipe: alloy steel welded pipe adds a small amount of alloy elements on the basis of ordinary carbon steel to improve its strength, hardness, corrosion resistance or high temperature resistance. Production Process

01
raw materials preparation
Steel plate or steel strip selection: according to the required specification and use of welded pipe, select the appropriate steel plate or steel strip as raw material. The raw materials should have good mechanical properties and welding properties. Raw material inspection: check the quality of steel plate or steel strip to ensure that the surface is free of cracks, inclusions and other defects, and the chemical composition and mechanical properties meet the requirements.

moulding
Crimp steel plate or strip: Crimp steel plate or strip into a tube using a crimp machine. In the process of crimp, the crimp speed and crimp Angle should be controlled to ensure the accurate shape and size of the tube. Molding adjustment: by adjusting the shape and size of the molding die, the curled tube gradually approaches the shape of the final product. In the molding process, the inner diameter, outer diameter and wall thickness of the tube should be constantly checked to ensure the quality of the product.

welding
Welding method selection: according to the specification and use, select the appropriate welding method, such as high frequency resistance welding, submerged arc welding, etc. Welding operation: welding is performed at the tubular joint after molding. Parameters such as welding current, voltage and welding speed should be controlled in the welding process to ensure the quality and strength of the weld. At the same time, the weld should be cooled and insulated to prevent cracks and deformation of the weld.

finishing
Weld treatment: The weld is sanded and trimmed to remove burrs and bumps on the surface of the weld and improve the flatness and smoothness of the weld. Tube straightening: The tube body is straightened using a straightening machine to eliminate the bending and distortion of the tube body during the molding and welding process. Pipe end treatment: The pipe ends are cut and trimmed to ensure their flatness and verticality. At the same time, according to the needs of the pipe end for flaring, shrinking and other processing.

postprocessing
Inspection and testing: Inspect the appearance, size, mechanical properties and welding quality of steel pipes. Coating and anti-corrosion treatment: according to the use environment and requirements, it is coated and anti-corrosion treatment. The coating can improve the corrosion resistance and service life of the welded pipe. Packaging and transportation: the inspected products will be packaged and marked for transportation and storage.
