High tensile strength

Steelmaking
Steelmaking is the first step in making this type of steel. First, in the way of converter steelmaking, a crane is used to lift the ladle of molten iron to the top of the converter, and the hot molten iron is poured into the converter. Then, the oxygen gun is used to blow oxygen to the hot metal in the furnace, and the "oxidation method" is used to make steel. Converter steelmaking has the characteristics of short smelting time and large mass production, so it is widely used in the steel smelting of Marine equipment such as aircraft carriers. After the molten steel is smelted, it is also necessary to carry out the "off-furnace refining" process to remove the smelting defects such as inclusions and bubbles in the molten steel, and alloying again and further removing sulfur and phosphorus to make the molten steel more pure.

Continuous casting and slab treatment
After steelmaking is completed, continuous casting operation is carried out to form continuous casting slab. These slabs are then accepted into the warehouse, and are cut and grouped according to production needs.

Heating and descaling
The continuous casting slab is heated in the heating furnace, and the preheating, heating and soaking temperature is controlled according to the requirements of the steel grade and heating system. After the heating is completed, the slab is sent by the roller to the descaling machine for descaling to remove the surface of the oxide sheet.

Roughing and finishing rolling
The slab after descaling goes into roughing mill for roughing, and the opening and final rolling temperatures of roughing mill need to be strictly controlled. After the roughing is completed, the slab passes through the laser width meter into the finishing mill for finishing rolling.

Laminar cooling and straightening
After finishing rolling, laminar cooling after rolling is carried out according to the process needs. The cooled ship plate is sent to the straightening machine for straightening to ensure the flatness of the steel plate.

Cooling, inspection and storage
The straightened steel plate enters the cold bed for natural cooling. After cooling, the upper and lower surfaces of the steel plate are inspected to ensure that their quality meets the standard. Finally, after cutting, finished product inspection, sampling, physical and chemical inspection, grinding, reinspection and other processes to ensure that the quality of the finished steel plate meets the requirements. Qualified steel plates are identified and collected for storage.
