Choose steel
Choose high-quality low carbon steel or low alloy steel as raw materials, these steels have good plasticity and weldability.

Cutting fixed length
The large roll or long strip of raw steel is cut according to the preset length to facilitate subsequent processing.

Heating and rolling
Heating furnace heating: the cut billet is sent into the heating furnace and heated to the appropriate rolling temperature (usually above 1000°C) to improve the plasticity of the steel and reduce the rolling force. Roughing: The heated billet is initially rolled through the roughing mill to form a thicker intermediate billet. Middle rolling and finishing rolling: the intermediate billet is further passed through the middle rolling mill and finishing mill, gradually reducing the cross-section size and giving it a specific shape to form a round steel close to the final size.

Thread processing
Cooling and straightening: the round steel after finishing is cooled first, and then the shape is corrected by the straightener to ensure straightness and dimensional accuracy. Thread rolling: Use the thread rolling mill to roll uniform threads on the surface of the round steel. This process is accomplished by a number of rollers with threaded bumps working together, which gradually extrude the steel surface out of the threaded shape. The depth, spacing and shape of the thread should strictly meet the design requirements.
