Introduction
Aluminized Steel

Aluminized steel is a steel plate plated with a layer of pure aluminum or an aluminum-silicon alloy containing 5% to 10% silicon on the surface of carbon steel. The steel plate is made by hot plating, electrophoresis or vacuum evaporation, among which the hot plating method is the most widely used. It combines the characteristics of steel and aluminum, and has excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance, thermal radiation reflectivity and good mechanical and physical properties.
IBC Group is a competitive supplier of aluminized steel, able to provide customers with a one-stop product service. At present, our products have gone to many countries around the world, such as Canada, Turkey, Poland, Iran, Brazil, Malaysia, the Philippines and so on. Compared with other manufacturers, we have more competitive prices for the same quality products.

Product Application
Automotive industry
Aluminized steel plays an important role in automobile manufacturing. It is mainly used in heat-resistant parts of the exhaust pipe, silencer and body parts, such as doors, hoods, etc., and its lightweight and beautiful characteristics are favored by automobile manufacturers. At the same time, it can also be used as a coating material for automobiles to improve the appearance texture and anti-corrosion performance of automobiles.
Construction field
It is often used in the manufacture of building exterior walls because of its excellent weather resistance and decoration, and as the first choice for roofing materials, effectively improving the appearance quality and service life of buildings. In addition, it is widely used in roofs, window frames, wall panels, outdoor facilities, cabinets, household appliances, lamps, billboards and outdoor facilities.
Home appliance industry
In the field of home appliances, aluminized steel sheet is mainly used to manufacture home appliance shells, such as refrigerators, washing machines, etc., which are both beautiful and durable. At the same time, in the internal structure of home appliances, because of its high strength and good processing performance, it has also been widely used.
Packaging industry
Because of the good moisture-proof, rust-proof and compressive properties of this steel, it is also widely used in the packaging industry, such as food packaging and electronic product packaging.

Feature
Advantageous Features
High temperature resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance
Aluminized steel pipe has excellent high temperature resistance and can be used for a long time in a high temperature environment without discoloration. Its maximum use temperature can reach 750 ° C, and even up to 650 ° C, the coating can still prevent the steel plate from being oxidized and remain intact. This characteristic makes it particularly suitable for heat resistant installations subjected to corrosive condensation or other combustion by-products.
Thermal reflectivity
It can reflect most of the incoming heat in a high temperature environment, effectively reducing the temperature in the furnace. This makes it an ideal material for making efficient heat insulation barriers or heat reflectors.
Mechanical strength
At room temperature, the mechanical strength of aluminized steel is equivalent to that of its substrate. However, in high temperature environment, its strength is significantly higher than that of aluminum plate, showing excellent high temperature mechanical properties.
Corrosion resistance
During the hot dip plating process, the molten aluminum reacts with oxygen in the air to generate a stable Al2O3 protective layer, which immediately passivates the surface of the steel plate. This protective layer is not only stable and insoluble in water, but also has a self-healing function, even if the surface of the steel plate is scratched, it can effectively prevent chemical corrosion. Therefore, it has a strong resistance to corrosive gases such as SO₂, H₂S, CO₂, and its corrosion resistance is 3 to 6 times that of galvanized steel.
