1.Good hardenability: The hardenability of Cr2 steel is greatly improved compared with carbon tool steel, which can maintain uniform hardness and structure in a large section range.
2.High hardness: its hardness value is high, can maintain excellent wear resistance and deformation resistance under various conditions.
3.Strong wear resistance: it has significant wear resistance, can withstand greater friction and wear, prolong the service life of the tool.
4.High contact fatigue strength: this kind of steel has high contact fatigue strength and is suitable for the occasion of bearing repeated impact and friction.
5.Small deformation of heat treatment: in the heat treatment process, the size of this steel changes less, which is conducive to maintaining the accuracy and stability of the tool.
6.Good tempering resistance: after tempering treatment, it can maintain good hardness and toughness to meet a variety of use needs.
Normalizing: The normalizing temperature is usually between 900 and 950°C, the holding time depends on the material thickness and heating mode, and then air cooling. Normalizing can eliminate net carbide and improve hardenability.
Annealing: the annealing temperature is generally between 770-790°C. After 24 hours of heat preservation, the furnace is cooled to 500~600°C at a cooling rate of 30°C/h, and then the furnace is cooled by air. Annealing can reduce hardness and improve plasticity and toughness.
Quenching: Quenching temperature is usually between 830 and 860°C, oil cold or water cold. After quenching, the hardness and wear resistance of Cr2 steel sheet are significantly improved.
Tempering: Tempering temperature is generally between 660-680°C, which is used to eliminate quenching stress and improve toughness and plasticity. The tempering temperature can also be adjusted between 160 and 170°C or 200 and 250°C according to specific requirements.
Measuring tool manufacturing: manufacturing all kinds of measuring tools, such as template, card plate, sample set, gauge, block gauge, ring gauge, thread plug gauge and sample column, etc.
Cold working die: this kind of steel is also suitable for making cold working die such as drawing die and cold heading die, which can meet the requirements of high precision and wear resistance.
Low speed cutting tools: Manufacturing low speed cutting tools, such as turning tools, inserts, milling tools, reamers, etc., suitable for processing materials that are not too hard.
Cold rollers: Hardware Tool Steel Sheet is also capable of manufacturing cold rollers and other workpieces, which can withstand large deformation and pressure.
Other applications: rolling dies, cold drawing dies, etc., for the manufacture of alignment profiles, as well as small and medium-sized plastic dies that are not very complex.
