1.Non-oriented electrical steel: this kind of steel is mainly used in motor manufacturing, its magnetic properties are relatively uniform in all directions, there is no obvious orientation.
2.Oriented electrical steel: mainly used in transformer manufacturing, its magnetic properties are optimized in a specific direction, thus improving the efficiency of the transformer. It can be divided into common orientation silicon steel (CGO) and high magnetic induction orientation silicon steel (HiB).
3.High frequency extremely thin electrical steel: USED in medium and high frequency motors and transformers as well as pulse transformers, etc., with high requirements on thickness and magnetic properties.
The manufacturing process of this steel is relatively complex and mainly includes the following steps:
Smelting: obtain the required ferrosilicon alloy through the smelting process.
Hot rolling: the silicon iron alloy is hot rolled to get hot rolled steel strip.
Pickling: The removal of oxides from hot rolled steel strips by means of descaling machines and salt acid tanks to prevent defects on the surface of cold rolled finished products.
Cold rolling: Hot rolled steel strip is cold rolled to obtain the required thickness of steel plate. The oriented electrical steel also needs to go through a cold rolling, intermediate annealing, secondary cold rolling and other processes.
Annealing: Softening steel strip material hardened in cold stamping by metal heating and rapid cooling.
Insulation coating: In order to prevent eddy current loss, continuous coating equipment is used to spray insulation coating liquid on the bottom of the steel plate.
Cutting and packaging: according to the needs of use, the steel plate is cut longitudinally or crosswise, and packaged.
